If time is truly linear, then the divisions upon which we've come to rely are of utmost importance in this section. Mark your calendar carefully and don't forget to wind your watch! Oh, all right, I'm getting to it:

21 October 2010, Thursday

At this point it appears that our vows will be exchanged on a beach in the afternoon—likely at, or around, 2 p.m. Further details are forthcoming regarding the exact location and will be found on the WHERE? page.

We had trouble deciding whether to have the ceremony on the weekend or during the week, the weekend being a time when more people could come, and the week being better for flights on a budget. We settled on Thursday as a compromise. If anyone chooses to come, a Thursday might allow him or her to take the last few weekdays off of work while also snatching up a cheap flight.

We'll also be updating this page with more current weather conditions as the day draws closer. For instance, Neil's black suit during a Hawaiian afternoon on the beach, um, does not sound pleasant.

If you are able to join us for the ceremony, please let us know—we'll try to be as accommodating and informative as possible, considering of course the fact that, well, we've never been to this island before.
